a '68 302 in '49 ford

    a '68 302 in '49 ford

    im new to rebuilding,, i got a 302, its a long block, its got the crank,pistons,heads, i need to replace the cam,and all the covers.. is there a way to pulle the cam without gutting the other internals????

    You only need to pull the timing cover and remove the lifters & pushrods so you can remove the cam. Its not so hard unless its in the car in which case you may need to pull the radiator.
