Cant say I've had that problem. Do you oil the seal of the filter before you screw it on? I always do and have never had a problem. Maybe try scuffing the seal surface on the block a little with some 200 grit emmery paper (making sure to wipe it spotlessly clean after). Another thing you can do is just try tightening it up more, or a different brand of filter.
