I have a 89 5.0 H.O. from a Lincoln that I am putting into a 67 Mustang.  I have retro fitted it to carburetor.  Can anyone tell me how to fashion a pcv system using the 5.0 valve covers.  They do not have an opening like the old ones do, but the oil filler has a small tube coming out of it.

If i am correct you can run the tube from the filler cap into the intake filter to pull crankcase vapors into the carb and make sure the crankcase can breathe.  Why not just run open valve cover breathers and let it breath that way??? Thats the way it used to be done back in thar 60's and that is how i am doing my 88 302.

Youre right about the filler cap tube. Thats how I am running mine

you still should have a pcv valve or a road draft tube, the pcv valve should be on the oppisite valve cover of the breather (this case the valve cover with the hose running up to the air cleaner)

Personally I'd find a set of older valve covers
