One of our resident 302 guru's jonmark1985 is doing a performance build up on the cheap. Apparently having too much spare time has motivated him to try and build a drag engine on the giggle gas to take out to his local strip.
"I guess the place to start is a mission statement. I plan to get another MN12 Thunderbird and build a "street radial" drag car. We have a local drag strip that has a "run whatcha brung" friday night. Its an 1/8th mile track and I'm not familiar with how sticky it is. Its about 650 feet above sea level here and the summers get pretty hot and humid."
It should be interesting to see how the budget build handles a bit of N20 and a lot of revs.
