    My "new" 1979 Granada 302

Hello, I'm new to this forum but I've had my share of Ford automobiles in my short 7 years of driving. I've owned:

    1. 1992 Mustang 5.0 Convertible. Fast car.

    2. 1977 Maverick 2-door 250 L6. Ran like a champ. I'd own one again.

    3. 1978 Granada 2-door 250 L6. "Luxury" car but felt like a slug on the highway. Still a beauty.

And here I am back with the Ford family. I stumbled on a 79 Granada 2 Door on Craigslist for $900. Had the 302ci V8. Bucket seats. Floor shift Automatic. Interior is beautful. No cracks, tears, anything. It has 147,000 miles on it and it runs great. The tranny is slipping more and more so I'm aiming for a rebuild pretty quick. Anyways, I just wanted to show off my new car, get to know some folks on here, and try my best to build a fairly quick 302 over time.

When was the last time you saw a Granada anyways?
