    Older style HEI dizzy wiring

Greetings from New Zealand.  I have a standard 302W with Holley 600 4 bbl and have had all sorts of trouble with the old FoMoCo single points autolite dizzy - intermittent to no spark down coil lead at anything above about 1500 rpm.  After checking everything i got myself an older style electronic dizzy.  Has separate control module which has 2 sets of wiring coming out.  One set is 2 wires - 1 red (power) and 1 white, is this an Earth wire.  Don't want to fry anything because i hooked something up wrong.

     Any help would be great.

    Cheers Sean

    Sean,

Can you give some more info? Is it a FoMoCo dizzy? If so you should be able to find wiring schematics in a Haynes or Chilton's book.
