    First thing to search and try out... Find a domed 351c piston.  The deck height is almost the same as a piston for a 393 (351w) stroker.  This will provide adequate valve clearance for the larger valves.  A Windsor based piston will not have the proper valve clearance as the Cleveland piston.  You will probably need a domed ...

As for thoughts, you will probably spend almost as much on machining (intake, heads, water ports etc) and head prep as you would on a good set of windsor heads, unless you can get machining done cheaply.
