    Heads and cams depend a little on you HP goals and budget - can you give us some info on what you would like hp wise or $ wise?   Stroking it out basically means to increase the length of the stroke of the engine. This is usually done by replacing the crankshaft with a different one (different design) and possibly the rods/pistons as well ...

    I'm building up a 1992 5.0 H.O. engine out of a mustang to put in a fullsize Bronco. I purchased it complete, but dissasembled.     Check ancillaries: Double check all wiring connections, switches, seals, linkages and fuel/fluid lines to make sure nothing is astray Pre-oiling:First, be sure to use fresh clean conventional SAE 30 or 40 wt. oil and a new filter.     Is it a roller cam or a flat tappet cam? Which cam you have will make a big difference on how you go about running it in.
