  • 351W Harmonic Balancer Question.

    I'm going to get a used Harmonic Balancer off the net and my only question is:Does it matter if the new HB is from a 351w with EFI or not?My truck DOES NOT have EFI!'83 F150 with 351W.   Thanks for your Responses!   You guys have helped alot!

    Early windsors had 28oz imbalance. Later ones (80's and up) have a 50oz balance. Some people set them up to be neutrally balanced (0 oz) for racing purposes.   The scat crank you are using should determine the imbalance you require. You will need to match your balancer and flywheel/flex plate to this imbalance. You are better off buying a ...

    Heads and cams depend a little on you HP goals and budget - can you give us some info on what you would like hp wise or $ wise?   Stroking it out basically means to increase the length of the stroke of the engine. This is usually done by replacing the crankshaft with a different one (different design) and possibly the rods/pistons as well ...
