My son was a desert racer and ran 351 winsors, built his own motors. He
had one on the dyno at the time of his untimely death in 2002. Since

I'm going to get a used Harmonic Balancer off the net and my only question is:Does it matter if the new HB is from a 351w with EFI or not?My truck DOES NOT have EFI!'83 F150 with 351W.

Early windsors had 28oz imbalance. Later ones (80's and up) have a 50oz balance. Some people set them up to be neutrally balanced (0 oz) for racing purposes.
The scat crank you are using should determine the imbalance you require. You will need to match your balancer and flywheel/flex plate to this imbalance. You are better off buying a ...
