Check ancillaries:
Double check all wiring connections, switches, seals, linkages and fuel/fluid lines to make sure nothing is astray

OK. Its a flat tappet cam, not a roller.

Is it a roller cam or a flat tappet cam? Which cam you have will make a big difference on how you go about running it in.
