  • Re: pro comp heads

Awesome that we have 2 of you guys with procomps on here. They are rare as hens teeth IME at the moment so real world first hand experience is hard to come by.

  • CARB 351W to EFI 351W

I am new to ford engine building, but not new to the engine building business. I was wondering if anyone out there would know if I can take a 85 CARB long block and make it into an 95 EFI and put it in an 95 Bronco. Is all that I have to do is change the manifold and put the EFI on it? And do you know if it will bolt up to the trans?

  • Re: 5.0 efi into a 78 truck.

302truck:For horse power gains I was thinking more of the throtle body and injectors. You are gonna see little to no gain with those items on a stock motor.  In fact larger injectors will require an ECM reflash, and possibly a mass air flow system.  For the $500 you're gonna spend on those items you may be better off putting the ...

  • Re: 351 Engine Rebuild

Heads and cams depend a little on you HP goals and budget - can you give us some info on what you would like hp wise or $ wise?   Stroking it out basically means to increase the length of the stroke of the engine. This is usually done by replacing the crankshaft with a different one (different design) and possibly the rods/pistons as well ...
