  • Burnt electrical contact on the coil

    Had a weird day today... went out to finish what I thought was a bad batch of fuel... only to have the motor cut out before I was expecting to be empty.     Depends what youve done with it a little, but SBF's generally like around 32-36 degrees total timing and 12-16 initial. Less initial timing will generally make the car a little easier to start unless youve got a big cam.

    I havent...but it sounds quite unusual if this is what youre talking about. Heres a dyno of a before and after on a v6. I also found a couple of mixed reviews on mopars. Why are you looking at putting it onto your 302?

  • MSD Ignition coil

    Can anyone offer advice on ''MSD Blaster 3'' ignition coil. Does it need a resistor ? Will it fire ok on pre pollution '70 302 motor ? cheers
