    can anyone help me to id a motor a bought i have a 289W in my Australian 67 fairlane and thought that i had bought a 302W i know it is a windsor but cant tell if it is a 351W is there any easy way of identifying these two motors or can you recommend any sites that give these types of info and great  the spark plug thread is larger than my 289 ...

    If you get the right pistons it will work.  Off the top of my head I don't know of any pistons that will work in that combo.  351c pistons are slightly taller than the 302 piston, and may work with a 3'' stroke.  For a 3.5'' stroke you'll probably have to contact JE or Ross and see about having a set of pistons made.Also if you have ...

    Recently acquired my Dad's old Truck. '83 F150 with a 351W in it. Timing chain was replaced and engine was never put back together.   • Pump fuel & Comp ratio

    Can anyone please recommend a pump fuel to run with an estimated comp ratio of about 10.5-10.8:1? Worst case if my calcs are grossly skewed, 11.0:1.
